SUMMARY pandora just figured out that she is rich and has to marry her first cousin and is not aloud out of her house her stepmom is from sparta and her dad doesnt like spartens but he married her because he liked her kind ness so he married her pandora wanted to know about the wise guy that told her she was named after a book.

SUMMARY: Pandoras friend apollonia her mom just had a baby girl but apollonias dad got mad and took the baby girl and abandoned it because he wanted a baby boy so pandora went over to her housewand found no one there she hollered for her friend and there was no answer so she walked in and almost tripped over her friend in a corner and asked what was wrong she said the baby was gone she said gone were she said her father took the new born away and abandend it she AND HEr mother were sad because her father wanted a boy.

SUMARRY: Pandora went to the well to look for the wise one and he was no were to be found so she pulled up her hair and went further than she is allowed to and her stepmother went to look for her and found her by the shoe shop she got in trouble but pandora asked her stepmother if she would not tell her dad pandora is afraid that her dad will not let her out of the house she went to visit her friend apollina her family was doing better but woring about the baby.

SUMMARY: Pandora went to the fountain to look for the wise one but he wasnt there so she went on her way home and then some one said her name she turned around to find a boyhe said her name again and then the boy fainted she went to find him amd say he had a ragging fiver so she took him to the well to get him some water she asked him why he had said her name he said that he wanted to invite her to a party but he said she had to cut her hair like a boy he asked will she go to the party with him she said yes so pandora went home and wated until her stepmom went to bed and then snuke out of her house.

SUMMARY: pandor whated in her room to hear her stepmother go to bed then shew packed up her things andleft her father was gone as usuall and her brother was gone down in his room studing he dident even bother to come out to eat.

SUMMARY:Pandora is at the party and there is a lot of the fancy women that she saw at the shoe store in town so wonce she cut her hair she felt left out because there was a lo of girls there so she didnt have to cut her hair she just had to find a fancy dress so she found the wise one and told him she had gone to the foutain to find him today and he wasnt there so thats when so ran into phoenix and told her she was invited to a party.
prediction: i think her dad might show up to the party and she will get in trouble for sneaking out of the house.
The story takes place in Athens in 399 b.c. the main character is Pandora a very rich girl.
The civilization is good but Pandora isn’t allowed out of her house except to go to the well. Well the author Barry Dannenberg says a lot of things I think are real the thing that didn’t seem real was when the boy phoenix fainted when Pandora found him in the bushes calling her name why that doesn’t seem real is because you just cant faint calling some ones name unless you had an attack .
The two main points that Pandora had was she wanted to be able to be let out of her house once in a while to explore and that she got to go to a party . The actions are believable because rich girls were not aloud out of there house.
My opinion on this book was that this was a very good book and I recommend you read it. I liked this book because it taught you that girls like Pandora were not allowed out of there house if there families were extremely rich so that the girls didn’t get hurt and there money stolen
